Come see some of the best local geeky musical acts and compete in our awesomely geeky game show! Local darlings the Doubleclicks are a pair of sisters who play cello and ukulele and sing about dinosaurs, love, books, grammar and heartbreak. They'll be sharing the evening with The Broadsides, a piratical-themed a capella trio of women who sing raunchy shanties and fun parodies about life on the high seas. The night will close with dance music provided by Robot Uprise. Throughout the evening, there will be the GeekPortland GameShow, MC'd by Kenna Conklin of GeekPortland. Win the chance to compete in two rounds of intense trivia action and maybe you'll find yourself in the final round: Pictionary with local artists Cat Farris (Flaccid Badger, Periscope Studio) and Patric Reynolds (Serenity, Abe Sapien, Let Me In)! To the winner - prizes from Bridge City Comics and Ground Kontrol! To the losers - drink tokens! |

I recently meet a few new friends online who live in the Portland area and now I find your awesome, amazing selves! I’m deeply considering a road trip from SoCal, where I call home, to Portland. If I do, I’M SO HERE! Would you welcome an out of stater? =D
Of course!
